Zavalatica is a small island town located in a natural cove on the southern side of the island of Korcula, 30 kilometers from the city of Korcula. Zavalatica has inhabitants 400 citizens, is 2 kilometers from the small town of Cara which is located in the inland of the island of Korcula, where there is a post office, clinic, and other facilities necessary for a peaceful rest. There is a market, café bar, a restaurant, and several beautiful beaches in Zavalatica. The 'Zitna' beach is located in the neighboring bay with the same name, about 300 meters away from the center of Zavalatica.
